About MyGutful

Gut health made simpler, one plant at a time.

Our story

I’m an Aussie mum in a busy family of four. I’ve always had a passion for health and a strong aversion to diet culture.

After listening to a podcast about gut health, I started reading more of the research. The evidence felt compelling: eating a broad variety of plant-based foods could support gut health and overall wellbeing, and it just made sense in everyday life too.

The more plant-based foods I added, the less processed food I wanted. It felt like a win-win, and thirty different plants a week started to feel like the magic number.

So I began manually tracking my plant-based foods in a notes app. But I had no easy way to see progress or keep myself accountable over time. MyGutful grew from that gap: a simpler way to turn plant diversity into a habit that sticks.

Medical note

This app is designed to support general gut health and wellbeing, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

As you increase your plant diversity and fibre intake, it is normal to experience some mild changes such as bloating, gas, or temporary discomfort. If this happens, consider slowing down or reducing your current intake until your body adjusts.

However, if you experience more significant or unusual symptoms - such as persistent discomfort, pain, or notable changes in your stool - stop the program and seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Everyone's body is different. If you have existing health conditions, digestive disorders, or concerns about your diet, please consult your doctor or a registered health professional before making changes.
